An idea… Dance Macabre in Efteling is opening autumn 2024. I guess Halloween will be the date. During Halloween there’s the cello Biennale only 100 km north of Efteling. Dozens of international famous cellists are visiting and playing there. Wouldn’t it be great if Efteling uses this opportunity to invite Tony Rogers to perform Dance Macabre live with hundreds of cellists live in the Efteling?

The Adagio was originally the second movement of a string quartet by Samuel Barber. "In January 1938, Barber sent an orchestrated version of the Adagio for Strings to Arturo Toscanini. The conductor returned the score without comment, which annoyed Barber. Toscanini sent word through Menotti that he was planning to perform the piece and had returned it simply because he had already memorized it."

While you do a great scale its really annoying that you go back a note or two right in the middle. You do know that people search for proper ways to do a scsle on cello.
